TweetDeck

Beginning my journey with TweetDeck, I first created a Twitter account. After I created my Twitter account, I opened a separate tab For TweetDeck. I then began opening up my side bar and pressing the plus sign to add columns.

Before I added columns, I had gone onto Twitter and I went to the ifrackle account, then I went to list, and subscribed to all of the items in the list. To find my article, I first followed ifrackle. After I followed them,  I subscribed to a series of pages and created a couple of columns in my TweetDeck.

I decided to search a new column of my liking. I made a column for the Chicago police scanner in my TweetDeck. Then, I edited my column so it would only show me stories about suicide that included links.

Then, I found a breaking new story. The name of the article I found was, “Man, 18, Dies After Fall From Loop Building: Police.” The story that I found was about an apparent suicide in the Westloop. According to the Chicago Tribune, an 18-year-old man was found unresponsive in the Westloop. This caused the Westloop to be blocked off for two hours. During the investigation, the police concluded that the young man the found had committed suicide.
