Just 24 days after the Las Vegas shooting massacre reports surfaced about the shooter’s younger brother, Bruce Paddock, possessing child pornography. On Oct 25, 2017, he was removed from his North Hollywood nursing facility as a result of officials discovering more than 600 pornographic images of minors, some who have even said to be photographed at ages less than 12 years old.

According to TMZ, the younger Paddock has been previously arrested for “criminal threats, arson, vandalism, petty theft, burglary, weed, driving on a suspended license and contempt.”

The investigation into the pornography charges was undergoing prior to the Las Vegas massacre. When the younger sibling spoke to reporters about his brother’s actions authorities were able to narrow their search.

This crime is a completely separate action from the mass shooting in Las Vegas. The suspect’s younger brother has been ruled out as an accessory.

Paddock was reportedly homeless and had been “squatting” in a Los Angeles building after being evicted. “The investigation began after the evidence was discovered in that same building, but Paddock was reported as transient and could not be located.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, “The LAPD released a photo of Paddock ‘in case there may be victims of unreported incidents,’ who might see it and contact authorities.” The district attorney’s office will continue to investigate. Authorities posted a Tweet asking for any other victims to come forward.

Fifty-eight-year-old Paddock remains in the Los Angeles County jail, his bail was set at $60.000. He will be arraigned on Federal charges on Friday, Oct. 27 on 20 counts of possessing child pornography and one count of sexual exploitation of a child.

Prior to the release the younger Paddock’s criminal acts, he had much to say about his brother. He expressed his confusion by saying, “I don’t know how he could stoop to this low point, hurting someone else. It wasn’t suicide by cop since he killed himself,” he told NBC several weeks ago. “He killed a bunch of people and then killed himself so he didn’t have to face whatever it was.”

Paddock did not stop at Stephen when he discussed the crimes of his family tree. He told The Epoch Times about his father’s being a bank robber and fugitive. He added that their dad was on the FBI’s most wanted fugitives list.

When it comes to Paddock’s arrests prior to his child pornography case, he seems to be detached from the situation. He only addresses his act of vandalism and really shows no remorse. He made it clear that he had never served time for that crime.

“I’m not proud of it,” he said of the vandalism case. “But I never went to prison.” After the Las Vegas shooting massacre indicated he felt bad that he had not spoken to his brother in 10 years. He added his desire to patch things up with his family.

There is no record that his family knew anything about the accused’s fetish for child pornography. More information about his arrest will likely be released after Paddock’s arraignment.
