This year’s Emmy’ Awards went off without incident Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020. Emmy’s statuette is awarded annually by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for excellence in television programming, production, or performance.
Some of the Categories most anticipated are; Best Drama Series, Best Comedy Series, Best Actor Drama, Best Actress Drama, Best Actor Comedy, Best Actress Comedy, Best Supporting Actor Drama, Best Supporting Actress Drama, Best Supporting Actor Comedy, and Best Supporting Actress Comedy.
2020 Academy Award nominees for Outstanding Comedy Series are, HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” for Netflix, 
“Dead To Me,” “Insecure” on HBO, “Schitt’s Creek” on POP TV, NBC’s “The Good Place,” “The Kominsky Method” on Netflix, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” on Amazon Prime Video, and “What We Do In The Shadows” for FX Networks.
The winner of this category was “Schitt’s Creek.”
Lead Actor Comedy Series
Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series is, Don Cheadle as Mo Monroe on “Black Monday,” Anthony 
Anderson as Andre for”Dre” Johnson Sr. on “Black-ish.” Ramy as himself on “Ramy”, Eugene Levy as Johnny Rose for “Schitt’s Creek,” Ted Danson as Michael on “The Good Place”, and Michael Douglas as Sandy Kominsky for “The Kominsky Method.”
