Florida Middle School Students Charged for Bomb Threat

In DeLand, Florida, two middle school students called in a bomb threat to their own school.

The male students were arrested and charged with making a fake bomb report. They called 911 and said they had a bomb and were going to shoot up the school, according to authorities.

The school was put on lockdown while DeLand Police Officers and the Volusia County Sheriff’s Department searched the school. The police were unable to find any trace of a bomb.
