A writer in many forms and an artist in many ways. My name is Iyanna R Stanton, an inspiring writer and journalist, plus more. I have been writing since I was young and I want to inspire change and spread knowledge with the words I speak, through my actions and service.
I want to be able to create change in people’s lives. I get my inspiration from those around me. People who are willing to take the time to help others the best way they know how. The best way I know how to serve is through my words.
I chose journalism because I know that I have the ability to tell a story. It’s one of my God-given gifts. Like many other women writers, like Ida B. Wells, Robin Roberts, and more, the goal is to create a space of knowing and informing. By the way, I am an intern at the News School.
