My name is Teray Essence Boyd. I am 19 years old, and I am from Chicago. I grew up in the suburbs, such as Yorkville, Addison and the Plano area.
I love to be on anything social media and reading articles about peoples’ lives is something I do in my spare time.
What I am looking forward to this program is learning more about journalism and how I can improve my writing. This internship is a stepping stone to further my career in writing. A career in writing is not the only the career or plans I would like to pursue. One dream I have is to successfully join the Peace Corp.
