Kate Bock, Jasmine Sanders, and Olivia Culpo are all models who made it to the cover of 2020’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

The spotlight cover with the three models was revealed earlier this week. The photograph of the models was taken in Bali by Yu Tsai.

According to Entertainment Television (E.T), the Editor in Chief of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit expressed the importance of these women and their goals. MJ Day stated, “Jasmine has single-handedly built an amazing career for herself with sheer determination and focus, and is now using her well-established social media platforms to advocate for social justice.”

Culpo is a multi-talented “businesswoman who most recently created MoreThanAMask,” which is “a line of fashion masks created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic,” Day emphasizes that all of the proceeds will go to COVID-19 relief aid.

She further states that “this is Kate’s eighth appearance in the issue.” Kate has extensively worked as an advocate for mental wellness and health. The model “has played a pivotal role as a creative and business-savvy collaborator for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit brand.” Day goes on to say how the women of Sports Illustrated are strong and timeless.

This is the first cover Bock, Sanders, and Culpo has been on at the same time for the 2020 swimsuit cover. These three models were given the spotlight for trying to make a change.
